"The Leatherman difference is really the sum of many individual details. On their own these little things might even go unnoticed, though you're sure to appreciate them, even if you can't quite tell why. Here are just a few things that make our tools and knives stand out from all the rest. Here is the Leatherman difference:
Feature-Dense:
There are no gaps in our tools. We fill every bit of space with useful implements.
Because we fill the entire length of the tool, our blades, files and saws are the largest on the market for multi-tools.
Finished and Ground:
Our screwdrivers are not just punched out, but ground on three sides so they hold a screw head better than the competition.
Heat Treated:
Each implement is treated for its individual purpose. For example, knives are treated at a much higher temperature for excellent edge retention and handles are treated at lower temperatures for more flexibility.
Special Materials:
High-wear parts such as blades and gut hooks on our hunting knives use S30V� and 154CM in our knife blades so they hold their edge 3-6 times as long as regular 420 stainless steel
Hard anodized aluminum handles on our pruners mean they're a strong as stainless steel and half the weight.
Unique Designs:
Our saws are cut in an "open" pattern design to resist filling up in wet or sappy conditions. They are also designed to work on the "pull" rather than the "push" so they don't flex (break) and take much less effort to use.
Our handles are comfort-sculpted so there's no hand-fatigue.
Outside-accessible blades mean you don't have to open the tool to get to the most used feature � the knife � and you can open them one-handed.
Bit driver technology means you can switch out screwdriver tips for different projects with up to 42 different options you can store in the sheath.
That Extra Something:
Diamond-coated and wood/metal files are crosscut to the very edge and then back down along the edge. This means more filing surface to get the job done faster.
Our knives are hollow-ground and sharpened to perfection and hold their edge longer than most on the market.
Our wire cutters are ground so precisely that they have to cut paper before they are cleared to go to assembly. Not only that, but on our full-size jaws, they can cut paper after they cut a 16-penny nail � multiple times."

When you return your tool, be sure to use an insured shipping method. We cannot be responsible for items that do not reach us or our local authorized service centers. This warranty does not cover abuse, alteration, unauthorized or unreasonable use of your Leatherman tool. This warranty does not cover sheaths, accessories, imprinting or color finishes.
